Running local SEO for one location is manageable. Running it for twelve locations without losing consistency is a different challenge entirely.
Standardize before you scale
Before touching any individual listing, lock down a consistent NAP (name, address, phone) format and a shared description template so every location speaks with the same voice.
Claim and verify every listing
It sounds obvious, but unclaimed or unverified Google Business Profiles are one of the biggest gaps I find during multi-location audits.
Localize, don't duplicate
Each location page should have genuinely local content — team photos, local landmarks, location-specific offers — rather than the same paragraph with the city name swapped out.
Build a review response system
At scale, review responses need a workflow, not a person manually checking a dozen dashboards. A shared response library with room for personalization keeps tone consistent without sounding robotic.
Track rankings by location
A single national rank tracker isn't enough — track keyword rankings per city so underperforming locations don't hide behind strong ones in the average.
